Get In Touch

The first appointment (evaluation) and subsequent appointments are 50 minutes in length. Clients may request a longer appointment in advance and are billed accordingly.

New to therapy? Reynolds & Associates Counseling is available for a complimentary 10 minute face to face consultation for new clients and offers a complimentary 30 minute consultation for couples. Currently, Cynthia accepts Anthem, United Behavioral Health and Aetna insurances. Our couples/family counseling is based on a sliding scale so that cost does not interfere with receiving the care you need. Most couples counseling is not covered by insurance and it is our goal to keep this an affordable service for all.

Individual, Couples and Family Therapy

Reynolds & Associates Counseling offers therapy to adults, teens and children (ages 10 and up) in a safe, confidential and therapeutic environment. We use only evidenced-based practices and is up to date with practices recognized by the NAMI (National Alliance for the Mentally Ill), SAMSHA (Substance Abuse Mental Health Services Administration), and the Veteran’s Administration. Therapy appointments are 50 minutes in length unless arranged in advance for a longer session. Therapeutic approaches utilized: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Problem-Solving therapy, Mindfulness, Prolonged Exposure, Cognitive Processing Therapy, and more. Couples/Family counseling approaches include Gottman, Narrative,  Solution Focused and Collaborative Behavioral.

Evaluation

The first appointment is designated as the evaluation/assessment. Here, you and your therapist will review your intake forms (completed prior to your arrival) and discuss pertinent issues and goals bringing you to therapy. This appointment is typically 50-65 minutes in length. Before scheduling a follow up visit, your therapist will ask if you felt comfortable, safe and understood. It is our priority to establish good communication and understanding from the beginning.
